Triumph Factory Racing Enduro Team's Jonny Walker delivered another determined performance at round four of the 2026 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship, securing third overall in Budapest, Hungary. On a tight and demanding track that rewarded precision and punished mistakes, Walker’s 5-3-3 scorecard marked his fourth overall podium finish from four rounds and ensured he maintains second place in the championship standings.

Walker set the tone early in Budapest by placing second in SuperPole, earning two valuable championship points and laying down a clean, controlled lap to establish strong lines ahead of the racing.

In race one, Jonny launched to the holeshot aboard his TF 450-E, but an early incident in the rock section saw him tangled with several riders and drop back to third. What followed was an intense battle among the leading group, with aggressive moves and constant pressure on a track that allowed no margin for error. Despite fighting hard throughout, a handful of small mistakes saw the Brit cross the line in fifth.

Race two saw Walker start from the second row in the reverse-grid format, but contact at the first corner left him at the back of the field. Refusing to be discouraged, he mounted an impressive charge through the pack, picking off riders one by one with smooth, mistake-free laps. By the midpoint of the race, Walker had already gained eight positions and continued his progress to claim a hard-earned third place.

In the final race, Walker emerged third off the line and immediately went on the attack, applying pressure to the leaders ahead. As the race unfolded, he capitalised on mistakes in front to close the gap, but despite remaining in contention throughout, he was unable to find a way past and brought his TF 450-E home in third to complete the evening’s racing.

With a third overall result in Budapest, Walker extends his run of podium finishes and remains second in the standings after four of seven rounds, holding a 19-point advantage over third place. The series now heads to Belgrade, Serbia, for round five on February 21.

Jonny Walker

“Just finished up here in Budapest with third overall. The first couple of races were tough and didn’t really go to plan, but in the final race I found a better rhythm and managed to bring it home third, which gave us third overall on the night. That’s racing sometimes, and I’m pleased we were able to turn things around. The bike felt good throughout, which is a big positive. I’ve been feeling a bit under the weather this week, so the focus now is on resting up and recovering properly, then coming back stronger for Serbia.”
