RAT Race Marks I-Day!

    New Indian Express:

Triumph Motorcycles India paid tribute to the nation on its 68th Independence Day by organising a ride of over 150 Triumph-ant customers across Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Ahmedabad and Pune.

The ride was flagged off across eight dealerships and the RATs (Riders Association of Triumph) rode across their respective cities, stopping at important cultural sites such as Bangalore Palace in Bengaluru, Char Minar in Hyderabad and Shaniwar Wada in Pune. The flurry of riders on their Triumphs raising the national flag and riding in harmony made for a pleasant sight.

The legendary British motorcycle brand Triumph entered the Indian market in 2013, with the launch of 11 of its prestigious models.

Considering I am able to make observations of this sort (rather than desperately seeking to defrost thanks to the bone-chilling European winter air) should tell you a lot about how well-suited to globetrotting the new Tiger really is.
